Hi, I’m Kim—a nonprofit leader turned advisor and strategist who helps purpose-driven leaders create lasting impact without burning out. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—as an executive director, board chair, grantmaker, and now, Chief Experience Officer at Elevatr.
My mission is to help leaders like you cut through the noise, create clarity, and build thriving teams that feel as good as they perform. I’ve been where you are—navigating the complex, often overwhelming, world of growing an organization. I know the weight these roles carry and how hard it can be to balance it all.
At my core, I believe in a people-first, mindful approach to leadership. It’s what’s driven my ability to fuel transformational growth and foster community impact through workforce development, experiential learning, and access to the arts. I love helping leaders and teams find their flow, so they can operate with greater ease and make their visions a reality.
Whether I’m guiding boards as a BoardSource Certified Nonprofit Board Consultant or collaborating with clients to chart their next steps, I’m all about doing less better and creating actionable strategies that move the needle. A published author, I’ve had the honor of speaking to over 100 audiences nationwide and sharing my insights in outlets like The New York Times, The Washington Post, Fit, First for Women, and SmartCEO.
When I’m not in strategy mode, you’ll probably find me on my yoga mat, sipping tea, or taking a walk to spark fresh insights. I’m a big believer in pausing to create space for the things that fuel me—whether it’s trying a new recipe or binge-watching a drama series. A lifelong travel enthusiast—I’ve explored 16 countries and 29 U.S. states so far. I’m always planning my next adventure, seeking opportunities for inspiration and new perspectives along the way.

Hello, I’m Ian, a change leader and process improvement consultant. As a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Prosci Change Management Practitioner, my career has spanned a variety of industries, from financial services and pharmaceutical marketing to magazine publishing and education. I find much of my enjoyment lies in helping to shape the vision of leadership and bring it into reality.
Through collaboration with leaders and teams, I have provided the creative guidance to maximize efficiency, eliminate bottlenecks, and forge the path between the way things are done today and the potential for the future. I am energized when I am able to empower others to look beyond the status quo for solutions to their most persistent challenges.
I consider myself a life-long learner and, as a result, have many interests including road cycling, woodworking, watercolor painting, and photography. An art major in college, I continue to nurture my creative practices, as well as incorporate them in my work. I find projects everywhere and get great enjoyment from tinkering, fixing, and building. I was born in the U.K. just outside of London and moved to the States when I was eight, which means I often seek out a frothy pint of Guinness with a side of fish and chips. I am also an enthusiastic traveler because it changes my perspective and helps me see myself and the world in a different light.
